Please join us at the Sonoma County Book Festival this year. This free public event transforms downtown Santa Rosa into the literary capital of Northern California. Thousands of booklovers return every year for a full day of fun under our welcoming white tents. Our rich programs present nationally acclaimed and locally treasured authors, who inspire and entertain festival attendees of all ages.
Mark September 20, 2008 on your calendar now. Please give yourself plenty of time to:

• Attend readings, presentations and book-signings by local and nationally acclaimed authors and poets.
• Participate in lively panel discussions, multicultural programs and other book-inspired activities.
• Enjoy staged performances, art and music.
• Share in special events and activities for children and teens at the Target Children's Tent.
• Browse thousands of special titles, with new and used books for sale.
• Visit more than fifty booths and exhibits showcasing independent booksellers and publishers; libraries; cultural, literary, and civic groups; and the media.

The Literary Arts Guild produces the Sonoma County Book Festival with the help of a growing team of volunteers.
