Ten years. Hundreds of authors. Thousands of readers. Only ten dollars.

On Saturday, September 19, 2009 the Literary Arts Guild will present the Tenth Annual Book Festival and once again raise our tents on Courthouse Square to celebrate the literary arts. To prepare for our 10th anniversary we are asking our dedicated supporters to donate $10 each, or more if you choose, of course.

For the past decade, the Sonoma County Book Festival has provided - free to the community - a day of locally treasured and nationally recognized poets, novelists, essayists, reporters, children’s writers, aspiring writers, book group experts, publishers, bookstores, and other delightful and instructive displays on Old Courthouse Square in Santa Rosa.

Ten dollars could buy you a burger and a soda, or two burritos, or a mass market paperback, or three gallons of gas. Our modest proposal is that you instead send that tax-deductible $10 to the Sonoma County Book Festival, P.O. Box 159, Santa Rosa, 95402 or use our safe, secure Pay Pal link below.

The kindness and support of our neighbors has always been our main source of funding and in these challenging times, we need your help more than ever. The Book Festival and all the booklovers in the county thank you.
